PMBOK v8 - PMP Exam Preparation 2026
The PMP® certification exam is changing on July 9, 2026, reflecting the evolving reality of project management: hybrid ways of working, stronger business Torientation, value delivery, AI, stakeholder engagement and decision-making in complex environments.
In this session, we will explore what the new PMP® exam means for candidates and project managers preparing for certification. We will look at the updated exam structure, the changing weight of the domains People, Process and Business Environment, and the connection between the new exam and the PMBOK® Guide – Eighth Edition.
Participants will learn how to adjust their study strategy, what topics deserve more attention, and why the new exam is expected to focus less on memorization and more on practical judgment, situational thinking and the mindset of a project leader. The session will also include practical guidance on how to approach scenario-based questions and how to integrate predictive, agile and hybrid approaches into one coherent exam preparation strategy.
