Volunteering is the cornerstone of the entire PMI organization. Locally, we work with a group of committed students, full-time project managers and project management enthusiasts. As a team, we create and build one of PMI's core values, Together We Can.

If you are interested in project management, whether you are an experienced project manager, a student in the field or an enthusiast looking to break into the field, volunteering with PMI CZ gives you a unique opportunity to engage with a community of professionals and gain valuable experience, inspiration and contacts.

Whether you are a PMI member or not, we encourage everyone to take a step closer to gaining irreplaceable experience and networking opportunities by becoming a volunteer in our chamber.

INSIGHT INTO PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Through PMI you will get an overview of what is happening in the project management world. Our workshops, webinars and conferences focus on trends related to project management in the areas of new technologies, leadership practices, forms of collaboration and personal management.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Getting involved in our chamber activities will give you the space to learn new skills and develop important competencies, all in the safe space of our non-profit organization. Both within our team and at our events, you will have the opportunity to meet other professionals in the field and gain new perspectives and ideas.

BENEFITS OF PMI

As a chamber volunteer, you will have free admission to all of our events. PMI members will receive PDUs for their volunteer activity. A volunteer career with us can take you up to chamber leadership and open you up to representing us abroad at international events.

Volunteer opportunities

 

FEMP PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

Planning, organization & facilitation of FEMP sessions & workshops. Engagement, Communication & Networking with participants & mentors. FEMP Program promotion. Cooperation with PMI chapters in other countries. Data processing & management.

 

MARKETING TEAM ASSISTANT

Support of the marketing team - e.g. communication on social networks (FB, LinkedIn, Instragram), graphics, copywriting, creation of documents with PMI graphic, creation of communication plan, graphics, event support.

 

SPECIALIST FOR UNIVERSITIES

Lead cooperation with universities. Launch PMI student club in university. Promote PMI programs in universities. Cooperate with other chapters.

 

EVENTS PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Leads preparation, planning and execution of particular events in line with agreed events plan. Support event owner. Secures that the event preparation process succesfully passes all agreed stages and milestones.

 

VOLUNTEERS ADMINISTRATOR

Supports Program Leader in management of Volunteers Engagement agenda. Is a first contact for volunteers questions & needs. Administrates volunteers database & database of open positions. Helps volunteers to find the best job fit. Helps with creation of Volunteers Engagement strategies and Continuous Improvement actions to the steering team.

 

PODCAST VOLUNTEER

Support for podcast making coordination. Making appointments with the guests, reviews of podcast outlines. Some experiences with simple audio production (Audacity) would be an advantage.

 

SPM - COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

Develop and implement social media strategies and plans to promote SPM initiatives. Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns. Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages. Collaborate with the sustainability team to align social media content with project goals.

 

SPM - COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST FOR INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

Develop internal communication strategies to keep partners, board and other stakeholders informed about sustainable projects. Create newsletters, emails, and other internal communication materials. Organize and facilitate internal meetings and workshops on sustainability topics. Monitor and improve employee engagement and feedback regarding sustainability initiatives.

 

SPM - GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Design visual content for sustainability communication. Create infographics. Ensure all visual content aligns with SPM. Collaborate with the communication team to develop visually appealing social media content. Stay updated on graphic design trends and sustainability visuals.

 

SPM - WEB MASTER

Manage and update the SPM website with sustainability content. Ensure the website is user-friendly. Monitor website performance. Collaborate with the content team to update website timely.

 

SPM - CONTENT WRITER

Create compelling and informative content on sustainability topics for various platforms. Research and stay informed on the latest sustainability trends and developments. Write articles, blogs, reports, and whitepapers on sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with the communication team to align content with overall strategy.

 

SPM - JUNIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Assist in developing and implementing sustainability strategies. Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability programs. Coordinate with other programs to ensure alignment with sustainability goals. Conduct research and analysis to support sustainability initiatives. Prepare and present presentations and reports for management board.
